Why Pulse4Pulse

The All-in-One Onsite Diagnostic Service

Everything your practice needs to assess cardiovascular and autonomic risk — without adding staff, purchasing equipment, or disrupting your workflow.

Better Patient Outcomes

Identify What Standard Checkups Miss

Many chronic cardiovascular and autonomic conditions are asymptomatic in their early stages. By the time symptoms appear, meaningful disease progression has often already occurred. Pulse4Pulse assessments surface early physiological risk markers and give your clinical team objective data to act on — supporting your evaluation, not replacing it.

Enhanced Practice Revenue

New Medicare Revenue With Zero Overhead

Pulse4Pulse assessments are billable to Medicare Part B for eligible patients when medically indicated, with up to 5 CPT codes per qualifying visit. Coverage and rates vary by payer, state and MAC contractor. Our certified technician comes to you, conducts the assessments, and supports the billing process. You receive all insurance remittances directly. No capital expense, no staff training, no workflow disruption.

What the Assessments Surface

Early Risk Markers a Standard Exam Won't Show

Pulse4Pulse assessments produce objective physiological data relevant to the evaluation of conditions that are often asymptomatic in their early stages — in patients who present as well on a routine exam.

Peripheral Artery Disease
Diabetic Neuropathy
Cardiac Autonomic Neuropathy
Atherosclerosis
Vascular Abnormalities
Type 2 Diabetes Complications

These assessments support clinical evaluation and risk stratification. They are not diagnostic of any condition on their own, and results are interpreted by the ordering provider.

The Testing Protocol

3 Core Tests. 20 Minutes. Actionable Results.

Three noninvasive assessments conducted onsite by our certified technician — delivering same-day results directly to your clinical team.

Sudomotor Test

The device stimulates the patient's sweat glands, through hands and feet, by emitting a low-voltage current through a glass plate. Results help the physician assess whether the patient shows signs of vascular disease or neuropathy — often among the earliest detectable indicators of autonomic dysfunction in diabetic patients.

Autonomic Nervous System Test

We report heart-rate variability with beat-to-beat blood pressure after deep breathing, head-tilt, and Valsalva maneuver tests, compared to baseline. The findings support evaluation of autonomic function — including screening for cardiac autonomic neuropathy — while it may still be clinically silent.

Ankle-Brachial Index Test

A measurement of the ratio of blood pressure in the upper and lower body. An abnormal result is a recognized indicator of peripheral arterial disease and allows assessment of the vascular system at the macro level, often before a patient reports symptoms.

Established Standards of Care

Aligned With Published Clinical Guidance

The assessments in the Pulse4Pulse protocol are the ones addressed by published guidance from the leading bodies in cardiovascular and metabolic medicine. Neither organization endorses Pulse4Pulse or any commercial service.

ADA
Guidance

The American Diabetes Association Standards of Care address screening for cardiovascular autonomic neuropathy in patients with diabetes. Autonomic assessment is therefore directly relevant to any practice managing a diabetic panel.

AHA
Guideline

The American Heart Association practice guidelines address ankle-brachial index measurement in adults at increased risk of peripheral artery disease, including those with diabetes, a smoking history, or other risk factors, and in older adults.

Office Workflow

Seamless. Simple. Zero Disruption.

From patient intake to insurance remittance — here's exactly how Pulse4Pulse integrates into your practice workflow.

01

Patient Questionnaire

Eligible patients complete a brief intake form, identifying those with a clinical indication for testing and establishing a baseline.

02

Onsite Testing

Our certified medical technician sets up, conducts and documents all three assessments onsite — your staff does not administer the tests.

03

Same-Day Results

A clear, easy-to-interpret report with a summary and findings is delivered the same day via physician portal for your review.

04

Follow-Up When Indicated

Where findings warrant it, your provider determines the appropriate follow-up — giving your team a clear, clinically driven next step.

05

Claims Submitted

Pulse4Pulse assigns a billing liaison who works with your existing system to support claims submission for all applicable CPT codes.

06

Practice Collects

All insurance remittances are paid directly to your practice. Pulse4Pulse invoices the practice separately for the service.

Add Remote Patient Monitoring to Your Diagnostics Program

Pulse4Pulse helps identify your highest-risk patients. FitPeo monitors them 24/7 between visits. Together, the two programs create a proactive care loop that surfaces early risk markers, monitors them continuously, and generates Medicare reimbursement at every step.

Pulse4Pulse assessments — up to 5 billable CPT codes per qualifying visit
FitPeo RPM/CCM — $74K–$115K* net annually per 100 enrolled Medicare patients
Two independent Medicare-reimbursed revenue streams — no equipment cost to the practice

* Estimated net revenue to the practice after program fees, per 100 enrolled Medicare patients, assuming approximately 80% of enrolled patients transmit enough days each month to bill a full month (10% partial, 5% care-management only, 5% non-billable). Conservative-to-moderate service tier. RPM and CCM are Medicare Part B services; the estimate covers Medicare and dual-eligible patients only. Pulse4Pulse reimbursement is described qualitatively and carries no revenue estimate. Rates vary by locality, MAC contractor, payer mix, patient engagement, and billing compliance. Planning estimate only — not a guarantee of revenue. See how we source our figures.
